Mary is a skilled negotiator with substantial trial experience. She has been the lead attorney on over 300 bench and jury trials, and has successfully negotiated multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of her clients. Prior to joining Weitz & Luxenberg, Mary was an associate at Locks Law Firm in Philadelphia; she also worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Philadelphia, where she was assigned to the Major Felony Trial Unit.

Mary's main areas of practice are in mass tort and product liability litigation. Her main concentration is in representing people who are suffering from asbestos related illnesses but she also handles various personal injury and criminal matters. Recently, Mary was named a 2010 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star (awarded to top 2.5% of lawyers under 40) in product liability, personal injury and criminal defense.

Mary is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars. She is a member of several bar associations and organizations such as the Philadelphia Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Associations for Justice.

Mary is a 1998 graduate of the Catholic University of America. While at Catholic, she spent a year studying abroad at the Universidad of Valladolid, in Valladolid, Spain, and was a member of the Varsity Women's Soccer Team. Mary is a 2002 graduate of Temple Law School, where she participated in both the L.E.A.P. and Teen Court programs, which taught basic trial skills and principals of law to students at area high schools.
