Michael L. Saile, Jr., Esq. grew up in lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania and graduated from Council Rock High School. While in high school, Mr. Saile played baseball and was a varsity member of Council Rock's wrestling team in his junior and senior years. Also during high school, Mr. Saile attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouting, a designation attained by less than 1% of all Scouts.
Mr. Saile then attended the University of Delaware where he attained a bachelor's degree in Accounting. While in college Mr. Saile was a member of the social fraternity of Pi Kappa Alpha. After college, Mr. Saile immediately began law school at Widener University School of Law, where he was frequently named to the Dean's List and was an active member on the Law School's trial team. Mr. Saile graduated law school with honors and received several Certificates of Achievement for obtaining the highest grade in the class. During law school Mr. Saile clerked for a law firm in Wilmington, Delaware.
After law school, Mr. Saile successfully passed both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar examinations and began practicing law for a firm in Vineland, New Jersey. While working in New Jersey, Mr. Saile personally handled over 100 personal injury cases (at a time) and numerous municipal court matters, including driving under the influence cases. Mr. Saile participated in several jury trials and appealed a case to the NJ Supreme Court, which was eventually decided in his client's favor. This published case improved NJ law for tens of thousands of people injured in New Jersey car accidents. Although he gained great experience at this law firm.
In 2004, Mr. Saile merged practices with his father, Michael Sr. (although he doesn't enjoy being called "Senior") and together they formed Saile & Saile LLP. At Saile & Saile LLP, Mike focuses his practice on only two areas of law: Personal Injury and DUI Defense.
While at Saile & Saile LLP, Mike made some changes to the way he was previously practicing law. Mike wanted to improve customer service at his new firm. Mike initiated case acceptance guidelines. This means that we only take on a small number of cases and only work for clients that want to team with us to get the best possible result. We do not overextend ourselves in order to increase our incomes. We believe that attention to case details, customer service, communication and a strong relationship with our clients benefits our clients and our law firm in the long term.
Besides his busy practice of law, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, making homemade wine (...ask him for a bottle of red), exercising, golfing, fishing, and winter sports. Mike enjoys both the New Jersey and Delaware beaches during the summer months.
In 2010, Mike was named as a "Rising Star-Super Lawyer" by Thompson Legal. This means that his colleagues and peers have recognized him as one of the top up-and-coming attorneys (under 40 years of age) in Pennsylvania. This designation is only given to 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania. Mr. Saile was also named to the same list in 2011.
Also in 2010, Mr. Saile was named to Suburban Life Magazine's Awesome Attorney's List. In 2011, he was again named to the Awesome Attorneys List, but also according to Suburban Life Magazine, was voted by its readers as "being the very best" in his area of practice of DUI/DWI defense and traffic violation defense. He describes more about these steps in the informational video. If you have been arrested for DUI in Pennsylvania, the first court hearing you will attend is the preliminary hearing.
